Deekay Has Kajal Aggarwal On His Mind For His Next

Kavalai Vendam director Deekay is currently busy with his next project which he says will be a dark comedy. He is currently in search for the female lead actress and while there have been some rumors going around about who she might be, Deekay has shared that he is considering Kajal Aggarwal for the role. It was being speculated that Nayanthara might be the female lead in Deekay’s next but the director negated this as well.

Talking about roping in Kajal, the director said, “Kajal is definitely my first choice but I haven't signed her yet. In fact, we haven't signed anyone yet for the project. Everything is still in the discussion stage”. Denying rumors of Nayanthara’s involvement, Deekay shared, “A production house wanted me to write a script for a project with Nayanthara. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish the script as planned and the plan fell through”.

The director also spoke about a sequel for his 2014 film 'Yaamirukka Bayamey' and said that it is definitely on the cards. He isn’t sure if he will be at the helm of affairs for it. What he is sure about is that he will write the script for the project.
