Deepika Padukone In Rajinikanth’s Next?

Making her Tamil debut opposite none other than Rajinikanth, actress of XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, Deepika Padukone may make her Kollywood comeback soon. Her first was for Soundarya Rajinikanth, Kochadaiyaan, which was India’s first photo-realistic motion capture film.

As per latest buzz, this proposed flick will be helmed by Pa Ranjith and would be produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films. Reportedly, she would be playing a Mumbai girl, and movie is set in the city. The earlier speculations suggested the name of Vidya Balan for the character, however, we have to wait for the official confirmation.  

The movie is expected to hit the floors from April 14, once Rajini completes his 2.0 commitments. Presently, the pre-production work of this flick is going at a good pace in Chennai. Deepika Padukone is presently occupied with Padmavati.
