Delight To Shoot Vijay Sir: Cinematographer Natraj

Natarajan Subramaniam, who is the cinematographer of Vijay’s forthcoming movie ‘Puli’, had a candid chat with the Indiaglitz. Natarajan is a renowned technician in Bollywood and in Tamil he is also famous as an actor. He has earlier also worked as a cinematographer with Vijay for a 2002 romantic action entertainer ‘Youth’.

Natarajan has been a close friend of Vijay since then. The cinematographer in an interaction with Indiaglitz said, “Vijay will be too silent in the shot breaks in the shooting spot, but that means his hard work. He will look in totality after reading a scene on what to do in that scene. When you say ‘start camera and action’ so many changes will come from him. We will be confused as to which to take and which to leave. All will be beautiful. If you explain a scene and suggest doing it in some way, he will do something else and ask us if it was okay. That will be great. He will work a lot within his mind before coming with that idea”.

He further added while praising the talented actor, “Vijay will do something even 50 times if you wanted him to do. He is ready for any number takes. Even if we want to completely reshoot a scene or ask him to wait for another day for shooting the scene again he will say okay with a smile. It’s a delight to shoot Vijay sir. You will only know if you work with him”.
