Dhanush And Mani Ratnam Coming Together

Known for his roles in movie like Maari, Anegan and Raanjhanaa, actor Dhnaush will now be working with director Mani Ratnam. According to source close to Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies, the duo met and spoke about working together on a film. Mani Ratnam is known for his films Roja, Bombay and Thalapathi.

According to the source, “Mani Ratnam is currently working on the untitled film (the one starring Nani, Nithya Menen), and as of now, that tops his priority list. But the way Mani sir works is he writes the script first, and then looks for actors. However, he did take out time to meet Dhanush, and yes, they both are in talks for doing a film together. If things work out, Mani sir will start working on the Dhanush film once he finishes his current project”.

Dhanush is also currently invested in other projects and the gap will give them both the time they need. The actor has previously worked with prominent young directors in Tamil Cinema and has been a part of the Bollywood industry as well. This news comes as a confirmation to the rumors that have been circulating in Kollywood.
