Dhanush Going Back To Work

Ranjhanaa star Dhanush was one of the several active participants in the Chennai flood relief campaign. The actor set up medical camps in a few areas to provide the necessary medical attention to the people affected by the floods. After vigorously working for more than a week, helping the people in need, Dhanush tweeted yesterday that he will be heading back to work today.

“Resuming work from Tom. ‪#‎thangamagan trailer from Tom evening 6 pm”, read Dhanush’s post. Thanga Magan is the actor’s upcoming film directed by Velraj. It was recently reported that the bookings for the film have opened in Canada’s Cineplex and that the movie will premier on December 17. It has been touted as the biggest opening for a Tamil movie in Canada.

The cast for the film includes Samantha, Amy Jackson, Radhika Sarathkumar, KS Ravikumar and Satish. The music has been scored by Anirudh who is currently in Toronto for a concert. Anirudh tweeted, “Landed in Toronto. Thanks to all the fans who welcomed us at the airport. Dedicating the concert and proceeds to the ChennaiFloods victims”.
