Dhanush-Kajol Starrer VIP 2 Starts Rolling

With the hustle and bustle of Bollywood star Kajol’s comeback into Kollywood, the VIP 2 team has finally hit the floor running. A motion poster was released by lead star Dhanush through his twitter account, which started trending in minutes after being posted. It announced that the Vela Illa Pattadhaari 2 shooting has begun officially, which is being directed by his sister-in-law, Soundarya Rajinikanth.  

Interestingly, the scripting is done by Dhanush himself and is co produced by his home production company wunderBar films and Kalaipuli S Thanu. The cast members in VIP 2 include, Amala Paul, Hrishikesh, Samuthirakani and Saranya. It will be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual movie with music from Anirudh Ravichander.

Reportedly, Soundarya and Dhanush reached out to Kajol in November, last year with the role and the Baazigar actress immediately agreed. Kajol later posted the picture on social networking site with Dhanush and Soundarya, which further confirmed the news for the fans. The flick is touted for yearend release.
