Dhanush Lauds Aishwarya Rajesh, Supported Vikram For Best Actor Award

Multitalented star Dhanush brought home the ‘Black Lady’ in Best Film Award for Kaaka Muttai. The actor who himself was nominated in Best Actor (Male) category for Anegan revealed that he was actually supporting Vikram to take away the coveted title. It was revealed during a post award interview with the Thodari actor.

"I feel happy and honoured to have been nominated consecutively at Filmfare under different categories, but this year, I want Vikram sir to win. He deserves it", elated Dhanush said. Vikram bagged the award for shankar’s I.

Dhanush lauded the work of Aishwarya Rajesh and referred her performance in Kaaka Muttai ‘a performance of international standards’. He further acknowledged that the her act in the flick deserves appreciation from one and all. Dhanush will be next seen in Vetrimaaran’s Vada Chennai.
