Dhanush Plans To Venture Into Web Series

It seems like that actors have taken an interest in web series. After several Bollywood stars like Saif Ali Khan, Vivek Oberoi and Rajkummar Rao took a fancy to web series, Kollywood star Dhanush too seems to have developed the interest in it. The actor along with his team is planning to venture into web series.

“We started planning for the web-series about two years ago. We started researching on it. We were even planning to launch an app but we had to shift our focus to VIP 2,” said Dhanush.

He further stated that he will start working on web series by next year. “It’s very much happening. We will be resuming our web series plan next year. Right now, I will be only backing it; I am not sure if I will act in it. We will be expanding it region by region,” the 34-year-old added.

The Raanjhanaa actor feels ashamed of himself of directing his first film, Pa Paandi, so late in his career. He stated that he should have directed a film early in his career.
