Dhanush Will Star In ‘Maari 2’

Dhanush starrer ‘Maari’ turned out to be a commercial hit. The gangster-comedy did a decent business at the box office. Few months back it was reported that there would be a sequel to the film and the Anegan star would feature in it. The reports have turned out to be true.

According to reports, the work for the film has already begun and is in very early stages. Director Balaji has started working on the script of the sequel. The project is expected to go on floors next year when Dhanush is free from all his current commitments. Currently, the actor is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Thanga Magan’. He has many projects line up as of now.

Reports suggest that both the actor and director are keen on the film and would be looking to make the second part bigger and better than the first part. It will be interesting to see whether the makers retain Robo Shankar and Anirudh Ravichander for ‘Maari 2’ as well. We will have to wait for an official announcement till then.
