Dhanush's Next Titled ‘Rail’

The shooting for ‘Why This Kolaveri Di’ singer Dhanush’s upcoming film has been completed. The actor has worked with Prabhu Solomon who has helmed the project. The female lead has been played by Rajini Murugan actress Keerthy Suresh. The title for the film has been decided out of two choices which were ‘Rail’ and ‘Delhi to Chennai’, and the team has landed on ‘Rail’.

The movie will focus on a train journey from New Delhi to Chennai, with Dhanush playing a railway pantry worker named Poochiappan. Keerthy Suresh will portray a touch up girl named Saroja. The journey will bring them together as lovers and put up obstacles that they have to power through together.

Rail will also have pivotal roles by Karunakaran and Anandhi. The movie will have a first look released soon and the title will be made official as well. Prabhu Solomon is known for his films Lee, Kayal and Kumki. Dhanush is known for his roles in Aadukalam, Shamitabh, Thanga Magan and Maari. For the shooting of Rail, a set depicting a train station was erected along with a train.
