Dhivyadharshini To Make Special Appearance In Dhanush’s Directorial Debut?

After establishing himself as an actor in Tollywood, Dhanush has now entered realm of direction. The 33-year-old star is currently busy helming his first directional venture titled Power Paandi that is starring Rajkiran as the leading man. Apart from him, Nadhiya, Prasanna and Chaya Singh will be seen playing prominent roles in the film. The venture began production in September.

Well, the casting list is not ended yet. The latest name that has reportedly joined the star cast of Power Paandi is of anchor-turned-actress Dhivyadharshini, nicknamed DD. According to the flying rumours, Dhanush has approached DD to play a cameo role in his film. If this turned true, then the drama flick will mark the actress’ return to the industry after almost a decade.

An official statement on the same is yet to come. However, a source close to the development has confirmed the news. It said, "Dhivyadharshini will be doing a cameo in Power Paandi. Though she will be appearing on screen only for a short time, her role will be a significant one. The role she has in the film gives her a lot of scope to perform”.
