Director Of Nivin Pauly’s Second Film Shares His Experience Of Finalizing Script

Nivin Pauly made a great start to his Kollywood innings by delivering ‘Neram’ in 2013. After that, the actor returned to Mollywood and did not sign any Tamil film for a long time. But recently, it was reported that he has decided to collaborate with debutant director Gautham Ramachandran for his second film.

The director revealed that he and his team had to prepare 40 drafts before coming up with the final script. He said, "In June 2015, we had set up an office in Chennai, and since then we've been working on the script. It took us nearly 40 drafts over a period of nine months to finally lock the script. It was one crazy, hell of a writing session”.

He added that the team is quite happy with the final script and was surprised to see the dedication of Nivin Pauly towards the project. Gautham said that the actor spent one whole day, from morning to night while working on the last draft. The film is expected to go on floors in mid-May and it will feature Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as the female lead.
