Director Rajesh Selva Shares His Experience Of Directing Kamal Haasan In ‘Thoonga Vanam’

Kamal Haasan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Thoonga Vanam’. The film is expected to release around Diwali. The trailer of the film, which was released along with the audio early this month, hugely impressed the audience and now they are eagerly waiting for the film.

The director of the film Rajesh Selva opened up about his film and shared his experience of directing the Papanasam actor. He revealed that he was nervous to direct the multi-talented actor for the first time, as he worked as an assistant director with Kamal Haasan for eight years and followed his instruction. It was difficult for him to instruct the actor.

He shared that the neo-noir crime thriller is shot in an unconventional way. He said, "When you see the movie, you’ll see how it’s not shot in the conventional way. It’s shot in a new pattern and if everything goes well and the movie is a hit, then people will have another way of filmmaking altogether”. The film has been inspired from French thriller ‘Sleepless Night’ and features Trisha as the female lead.
