Director Shankar praises Vikram’s act in ‘I’

Director Shankar is amazed with Vikram’s performance in upcoming film ‘I’. The director also thanked superstar Rajinikanth for gracing the audio launch despite being busy with his shooting for upcoming film Lingaa.

About Vikram’s role in the film, the director says, "Everyone will give their life and act, but Vikram has given his body also. Everyone who has seen the film say he would get the National Award. No one wll be happy as me if that happens."

The film was in news recently due to his grand audio launch. Although Shankar wanted it to be simple but producerAascar Ravichandran made it a grand affair. Talking about the film, Shankar says, "This film is not wolfman, hulk, sci-fi and also not about Olympics or sports, It's not a fun film like 'Jeans' or 'Boys', neither is it a social film like Gentleman, Indian and Mudhalvan. It's entirely a new genre for me, a romantic thriller."
