Disha Patani Bags Sundar’s Sangamithra

Actress Disha Patani, who predominantly works I Bollywood, is all set to be the new leading lady of Sundar C’s directorial Sanghamitra. The actress has been roped in to play the title role of the film. Moreover, Arya and Jayam Ravi will be playing the lead male in the flick portraying warrior princes.

This film will mark the debut of Disha in the Kollywood industry. Out of excitement the actress recently took to her social media account and posted, “Can’t wait to start shooting for this exciting film”. The film is going to be bankrolled by Hema Rukmani under the banner of Thenandal Films.

Moreover, Hema also took to his Twitter account to announce the actress’ debut in Tamil film. He tweeted, “We introduce Disha Patani as our beautiful princess Sangamithra. Shoot to start soon”. Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman is on board for composing the music. Meanwhile, the film is set in the 8^th century and Iconic production designer Sabu Cyril is in charge of it.
