Dora Is Not A Horror Flick, says Director Ramasamy

After the release of Nayanthara’s starrer ‘Dora’ poster, many anticipated it to be a horror flick. However, debutant director Dass Ramasamy spilled the beans on the story. He revealed the genre of the movie and the reason behind the title.

"The film is a crime thriller. There is a ghost, but the film will not have anything to terrorise the audience. The ghost will be a fantasy element within the crime thriller flick. The title 'Dora' has a connection with the story and we haven't selected the title just because it is a popular cartoon character. Thambi Ramaiah is acting as Nayan's father and he will be providing comic relief. Harish Uthaman plays a police officer”, said the director.

Talking about the poster, he said that it easily captures the crux of the story. The flick is its end of shooting and the makers are planning to release it by the end of the year. Dora is being produced under the Sarkunam Cinemas and Hitesh Jhabhak of Nemichand Jhabak.
