Dulquer Salmaan’s Fourth Tamil Project To Be Directed By Debutant Ra Karthik

He is a big name in Malayalam film industry but Dulquer Salmaan has only few Tamil movies to his credit. His last Tamil film Mani Ratnam’s OK Kanmani which released in 2015 earned him audiences’ love. Though the movie won positive reviews but the actor was not seen in any Tamil movie.

And now after a gap of two years, the actor has signed two films in Tamil. While, one will be a biopic on legendary actress Savitri in which he will play the role of Gemini Ganesan, the other will be directed by debutant Ra Karthik. Karthik’s untitled movie will be the actor’s fourth Tamil project.

About his maiden directorial, Karthik says, “I’ve been in talks with Dulquer for a while, and the project firmed up only now. It is a travel movie and we are in the process of finalising the four heroines for the flick. People have a misconception that if there are four heroines in a film, it would be a romantic one. But, I can vouch that my film will be unique and different in all possible ways. It will be a feel-good flick suitable for all age groups.”

The pre-production work of the movie has been started. The team plans to shoot the film in Tamil Nadu and parts of North India. They are looking for fresh female faces.
