Bhuvan Srinivasan, who is celebrating his birthday today, is editing Vikram’s upcoming film ‘Iru Mugan’ and has been quite appreciated for his work. So much so that the actor called his family to show them the recently released teaser for the film. Bhuvan shared, “Irumugan is about 50-55% complete. Shoot of one character, the bearded Vikram’s portions, are done with and we we have begun the other character’s shoot now. Simultaneously editing is going on and I have already completed what is shot”.

He added, “Teaser and trailer are usually done when the film is nearing completion. But in this case, we realized that there was already a buzz with the first look poster. So we wanted to have a teaser too. Initially we thought of releasing it on the 14th of April but since Theri was releasing and also as Vikram sir’s birthday was close-by, we decided to use the opportunity to cut the teaser and release on 17th April”.

He also stated that both him and director Anand Shankar understand each other very well which makes it comfortable for the editor to work with the director. Talking about the schedule for the film, the editor stated, “Recently the unit shot in EVP, Chennai and now they will be in Kashmir for around 10-12 days. After this, the team will shoot for around two weeks in Bangkok. We expect the shoot to go on till the 2nd week of June and the team plans to release the film around September”.

Wishing Bhuvan a very happy birthday and all the best for his projects.
