Either Illayathalapathy Vijay or Thala Ajith To Star in Atlee's Next

Rumours have it that director Atlee, maker of the blockbuster action drama ‘Theri’, will collaborate with actor Ajith Kumar for his next. If sources are to be believed, the ‘Vedalam’ star invited the filmmaker to his home recently. Reportedly, the young director narrated a story to the actor, who was inspired by the script and promised to take it up.

Earlier, rumours were doing the rounds that the 29-year-old director will team up with Illayathalapathy Vijay once again after ‘Theri'. However, South Indian film director and actor Sundar C. is likely to approach the ‘Puli’ actor to play the lead role in his mega budget historical project. The ‘Thuppakki' star might not be able to work in Atlee’s flick immediately if he is committed for the big flick.

As far as Ajith is concerned, his upcoming flick, which will be helmed by cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Siva, is likely to go on the floors shortly. The movie will be shot extensively in Europe. As per sources, the 45-year-old actor engrosses himself only in one project at a time. Considering the fact that both the Kollywood stars are likely occupied, it would be hard to claim who of the two bags Atlee’s movie.
