Enkitta Mothathey Is A Story About 80s Fans: Ramu Chellappa

Debutant Director Ramu Chellappa is excited over Enkitta Mothathey release. The movie is touted to hit cinemas in December and the filmmaker is quite confident about his film. It will depict the era where Tamil stars Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan were at the top of their career.

"The plot of the film is set in the '80s in Tirunelveli and revolves around fans of both Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan. That was the time when films of both actors would release one after the other. Fans would spend a considerable amount of time making cut-outs of their favourite stars and celebrate every release with much fanfare”, revealed Ramu.

He added that lead Natty and Rajaji play fans of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan respectively. Ramu added that the fans are quite mature these days and understand the film industry better now. He sounded confident about his story and appreciated the work done by M.C. Ganesh Chandra.
