Eswari Rao To Be Seen In Bala’s ‘Varma’?

Ace filmmaker Bala is currently preparing for his forthcoming film which is titled as ‘Varma’. The movie is an official remake of the Telugu blockbuster ‘Arjun Reddy’ which starred stars Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in lead roles. The preparation of the film is on in full swing and we now hear an interesting update.

Rumours are doing the rounds online that actress Eswari Rao has been roped in to play an important role in the film. The actress is currently filming for Azhiyatha Kolangal directed by M. R. Bharathi and produced by Easwari Rao only. Notably, Rao is currently being appreciated for her performance in the Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Kaala’.

As far as the movie is concerned, the Tamil version will see ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram’s son Dhruv reprising Vijay Deverakonda’s role. Moreover, the filmmakers haven’t finalised the leading lady for the film. Further, the flick will be bankrolled by Produced by E 4 Entertainment and will have dialogues by the National Award-winning director Raju Murugan.  Other than this, the original version of ‘Arjun Reddy’ tells the story of a medical surgeon who falls for his college junior. He turns to alcohol post his break-up and the rest is about his road to redemption. Upon release, the film won both critical and commercial success.
