Everyone Is A Gangster In This Film: Sumathi About Moodar Koodam 2

Kollywood director Naveen made his directorial debut with Tamil musical black comedy film, Moodar Koodam in 2013. The film opened with positive reviews from the critics and fetched the Best Dialogues award at the 8th Annual Vijay TV Awards. He is currently producing his second film which is a comedy-drama.

Apart from this project, the filmmaker is also thinking of Moodar Koodam 2 for which he has started shooting also. Actress Sumathi, who was in Moodar Koodam, talked about shooting in the second part. She said, “I had come here for vacation when I got the opportunity to be part of Moodar Koodam. When Naveen informed me he was making his next, I wanted to act in it as well and came to India. This film is not a sequel but has a different story. However, the team is more or less the same”.

So, this confirms that the film has started rolling in. She also revealed the backdrop of the film by saying, “Everyone is a gangster in this film. But they are gangsters in a black comedy”. The film is in the post-production phase. However, the makers have not yet made it official.
