Ezhil Does Not Find Comedy A Cake Walk

Director Ezhil is busy preparing for the release of his upcoming movie Saravanan Iruka Bayamen. The film includes an ensemble cast of Udhayanidhi Stalin, Regina Cassandra, Srushti Dange, Yogi Babu, Soori, and many more. His last movie was Velainnu Vandhutta Vellakaran which released in 2016 and was one of the best entertainers of the year.

“VVV was a comedy entertainer, but Saravanan Iruka Bayamen will have a dose of commercial elements — family sentiment, love and political satire. I started working on the film when VVV was ready for release. We shot the movie in the locales of Karaikal, Kannur, Thiruvarur and Tharangambadi,” said Ezhil while talking about Saravanan Iruka Bayamen.

He admits that the movie will relieve people of stress. Actor Soori will be seen playing the role with grey shades, while Srushti will essay the role of a college girl. Regina will be seen playing a girl who is rude. She knows Udhayanidhi since her childhood days and always bickers with him. When asked from Ezhil how challenging is to make a comedy, he replied, “Comedy is my forte and it is really difficult to execute it on screen. Most of my films are multi-starrers. It is not a conscious decision. I go for experienced artists to convey my story effectively.”
