Yuvan’s Project With Bala Is Still On

Actor Yuvan, who was crtically acclaimed for his performance in Saattai, had only one release in 2016. He featured in Ilami, a period drama which revolved around jallikattu. The film was appreciated by the audience. Also, he announced that he had been roped in for director Bala’s new project. For the film, playback singer Pragathi Guruprasad came on board. However, this will be her maiden film.

Bala has announced his next project, Nachiyaar starring Jyothika and GV Prakash. The film took off recently.  During an interview with the Deccan Chronicle, Yuvan was asked about his film with Bala, he says, “My film with Bala is still on. The project is still untitled and I was told by Bala sir that it will commence by the end of this year.”

Yuvan will next be seen in Vijay R Anand’s directorial, Vilayattu Arambam. “I play an IT employee in this venture. The story will shed light on the uncertainty of one’s job in the IT field and will emphasise on what people should pursue after their schooling. We shot the movie in Chennai and Bangkok.” The film is slated to premier in April.
