Filmmaker Vishnuvardhan reveals: Ajith insists on doing the most risky stunts on his own

The upcoming movie, Arrambam, will see the reunion of director Vishnuvardhan and Southern superstar Ajith Kumar. The director revealed that the actor has always been interested in doing all stunts on his own, dodging any high-risk factor.

The director explained, "He is so committed that he didn't let me appoint a body-double for him in the action scenes. He said he could do it on his own even after he injured his leg in one of the car chase sequences. He insists on doing the most risky stunts on his own.”

This is not the first time for Ajith in doing the same. He performed some dare-devil acts in a flying helicopter in Billa 2 too. The director added further, "Sometimes he is so involved in a scene that he wouldn't even realise if he is injured and would continue shooting. He has done most of the stunts on his own in the film. He was quite confident of handling these scenes.”Arrambam, also starring Arya, Nayantara, Taapsee Pannu and Rana Daggubati, is about to wrap up its production very soon.
