Newcomer director duo Shankar-Suresh’s upcoming cybercrime thriller ‘Inayathalam’ stars Ganesh Venkatraman as an investigative officer and Shwetha Menon, who will also be seen in the role of a cop. The movie is inspired by 13-year-old filmmaker Rohit Khanna’s short film ‘Samooga Valai’. Recently, Shankar spoke about the movie.

“Today, everyone is obsessed with social media”, Shankar stated, adding, “They indulge in a lot of things — good and bad, and our film will reflect upon the impact of this on our society. A cybercrime takes place and how Ganesh, Swetha and Erode Mahesh crack it forms the rest of the story”.

The director went on to say, “We have done our research on the subject. I am basically a hacker. The cyber laws are very vague. And even the infrastructure available is not enough. The story also involves hacking and a hacker device”.

Featuring music composed by Arrol Corelli, the flick also stars Sukanya, Delhi Ganesh and Y. G. Mahendra.
