Actress Gautami Tadimall, who was appointed as a member of the reconstituted Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) two months back, has said that she finds her colleagues 'very positive and passionate about cinema.' "It has been an interesting and encouraging journey so far. We are in the beginning phase as the board has just been reconstituted. We have held only one meeting so far to know how things are moving and figure out each other's way of working. I feel very encouraged here and I am sure that the board will be heading in a positive direction. It constitutes many like-minded people whose life is cinema,” she said.

Gauthami added, "I think our responsibility extends in many ways. Being a part of the CBFC, the board members should remember that nobody is anybody's enemy or adversary here. And we are definitely not in any kind of competition. Everyone is a part of the same industry and a part of the same process. At the end of the day, we have to work towards helping good content reach the audience."

The actress was recently in Trichy to be a part of Mammorun, which is a marathon that is conducted to spread awareness about breast cancer. Gauthami who herself is a survivor of breast cancer has attributed her victory over the deadly disease to her common sense. She also said yoga played a very important role in her life.
