Gautham Menon’s counsel finds legal charges against him false

A case against South Indian filmmaker Gautham Menon was filed in the Madras High Court recently. R.S. Infotainment claimed that Gautham with his four associates from his production house Photon Kathas have cheated them about the money earned from Ekk Deewana Tha. But the maker’s advocate A. Abdul Hameed has said that all these allegations are false.

The counsellor said, “These allegations are false and misleading because R.S. Infotainment had earlier filed a complaint on the same matter with the CCB in April, 2013. The CCB had investigated the matter and closed the case. RS Infotainment had then filed the same complaint with the magistrate court, suppressing the fact that CCB had closed the case earlier.”

In this context, it is being said that Menon is planning to file charges against R.S. Infotainment soon. Abdul further informed, “Gautham Vasudev Menon and Photon Kathas have been vindicated twice by the authorities and he will move the High Court against R.S. Infotainment.” Released in 2012, Ekk Deewana Tha was a remake of 2010 Tamil romantic-drama Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya.
