Gautham Menon’s Pon Ondru Kandein to Start Rolling From August End

Director Gautham Menon is known for making movies which are based on reality. Whether it is his directorial films or production venture, they all are based on the same pattern. According to reports, he is planning a Tamil remake of an award winning Telugu film Pelli Choopulu, directed by Bhasckar Dhaassyam. Moreover, he has even secured the rights of the film.

Gautham’s long-time associate Senthil Veerasamy will be making his debut as a director with the film. The Tamil version is titled Pon Ondru Kandein and will see actors Tamannaah and Vishnu Vishal reprise the role of Ritu Varma and Vijay Deverakonda. According to sources, the film is currently in its pre-production stage and will go on floors by the end of August.

The movie was earlier supposed to start rolling in July, however, it got delayed due to several reasons. The makers are finalising the rest of the cast and crew. Rumours were also doing rounds that actress Gayathrie is also a part of the movie. However, when asked sources close to her, they refuted all the rumours.
