It was earlier reported that actor Charu Haasan is waiting for the release of his upcoming movie Dha Dha 87. The film which is directed by Vijay Sri will see the actor playing the role of an octogenarian don. Apart from him the movie also features Keerthi Suresh’s maternal grandmother, Saroja, and actor Janagaraj.

And now we have learnt that the makers have roped in Grammy award-winning mastering engineer Leon Zervos for the film. Talking about how they managed to get Leon on board, the director said, “My music director Leander Lee Marty has composed five songs for the film and he was bent on mastering them at Studio 301 Sydney, to bring an international quality. Leon worked on the song called 6 Adi Aandavan (sung by Naresh Iyer and Christopher Stanley) and it has come out well. All thanks to Leander for taking the extra effort to ensure he gives the best output for the film.”

The team has wrapped up the shooting and will unveil the motion poster in September 29. “The story is set in 1988 and there is a connection between the year and September 29. There will be a clue in our poster and we hope that it would invoke curiosity among the audience. We are planning to release the film in January 2018,” said Vijay.
