Everyone has been eagerly waiting to get some piece of information of 'Thalapathy 61'. It has been a long time since producers of the movie made any announcements about the flick. Now putting an end to the long wait, Sri Thenandal Films, the producer of 'Thalapathy 61', has made a few announcements regarding the movie, which stars Ilayathalapathy Vijay in the lead.

The makers have confirmed that this mega budget, which is said to be 61st film of Ilayathalapathy, will hit the theatres worldwide during Diwali, which falls in the mid of October 2017. It is also believed that Atlee, who is directing the movie, is working fast so that it is completed within the stipulated time period. The makers have also officially confirmed that the first look of the poster of the film will release on Vijay's 43rd birthday, which is on June 22, to give him a surprise.

It is has been reported that the makers will also reveal the title of the film on Vijay’s birthday. So fans you have to wait till June 22, 2017 to know the title of the movie. The audio of the movie will release sometime in August. The music has been scored by Oscar winner A.R.Rahman. We wish all the success to the team of 'Thalapathy 61'.
