    G.V. Prakash Kumar on a weight-losing spree for his debut film

    Musician-turned-actor G.V. Prakash Kumar is trying his level best to get into shape for his first film, Pencil. He quoted, “Yes, I have been working out regularly and as a result, I have lost nine kilos in a matter of just three months. I was 69 kg before and now, I weigh exactly 60 kg. My workouts at the gym coupled with a strict diet have enabled me to attain this look.”

    The composer has so far entertained his enthusiasts via music and will now be amusing many with his acting skills. Prakash will be enacting the role of a school boy in the movie and to get that boyish look, he has hitherto lost nine kilos. The actor has also informed that 50 percent of the shooting has been completed and now the team is heading for the next schedule.

    Pencil will be a directorial piece of Mani Nagaraj who is also making his debut as a filmmaker in the industry with this film. Other than Prakash, the flick will also feature Sri Divya, Shariq, Suja Varunee, Urvashi and VTV Ganesh in the key roles. The movie is expected to be released in mid 2014. We wish Kumar the best for his first acting project.
