Music composer GV Prakash made his full fledged acting debut with last year’s ‘Darling’ which was directed by Sam Anton. Initially, the composer planned on making his on screen debut with the film ‘Pencil’ but due to some issues, it could not release on time. Now, finally, ‘Pencil’ has made it to theatres and the actor-composer is quite happy about it.

“Pencil is a three years late film and hence the response will be in line with that. That said, the audiences are definitely enjoying the climax and leaving the theatre with applause. The press show that we had yesterday also was received with a warm response. It is definitely not a disappointing film, but has that ‘three year old film’ feel. It would be branded as a decent film in the reviews and I am happy about that”, Prakash shared.

Talking about his upcoming film ‘Enakku Innoru Per Irukku’, Prakash stated, “EIPI is at a different level as regards the business. All the areas including Tamil Nadu and FMS are sold out. There is a huge expectation for the film. Audio has been received well and the song promos also have worked well. EIPI will be grosser. Pencil will get me a name and EIPI will get me money. It is a complete entertainer. We are planning the release in June”. The movie has been directed by Sam Anton.
