Hansika Motwani To Be Seen In A Quirky Role In Thuppakki Munai

2017 was an unpleasant year for Hansika Motwani with no releases. But, it looks like that this year will be busy for the actress as she is on a signing spree. Hansika, who has shed six kilos, has been roped in to for a thriller titled Thuppakki Munai.

The film will star actor Vikram Prabhu opposite the beautiful actress. Dinesh Selvaraj, who is a former assistant to Mani Ratnam, will be at the helm of affairs for the project, while Thanu, who had earlier produced Vijay blockbuster Thuppakki, will produce it. Vikram will essay the role of an encounter specialist in the film. This is the second time that Vikram is collaborating with Thanu after Arima Nambi.

In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, Hansika said, "The director came all the way to Mumbai to narrate the script. Impressed with the fascinating story, I gave my nod instantly." Speaking about her role in the flick, she said, "I am doing a character which I have not tried so far. It's not the routine heroine that you see in every commercial film. It is something quirky and interesting. And I am looking forward to join the shoot."

The Aranmanai actress also has dark comedy Gulebagavali with Prabhu Deva in her kitty.
