Hansika Motwani Will Not Be The Lead In ‘Sangamithra’

The makers of ‘Sangamithra’ have been considering and re-considering all the possible replacements of Shruti Haasan. It has been over two months since the actress opted herself out of ‘Sangamithra’ due to some debatable reasons. Many other actresses have been contemplated to essay the lead in the film, including Nayanthara and Hansika Motwani.

However, as per a source close to the film unit, Hansika has been taken out of the race. “She is not acting in the film, and the casting process is still on. The actress might be someone who is new and fresh to the Tamil audiences”, revealed the source.

The film, ‘Sangamithra’, has actors Jayam Ravi and Arya in the lead. Also, if rumours are to be believed, Sathyaraj will also be playing a major part in the film. The movie will be helmed by director Sundar C and is speculated to be one of the costliest Tamil films.
