Hansika says no to Singam 3

The latest on the third instalment of the Singam film series, Singam 3, is that Hansika Motwani steps away from the project for several reasons. The actress tweeted that she was never approached for the project. The Hari Gopalakrishnan Nadar directorial reprises titular character Suriya and Anushka Shetty. The project is expected to release next year.

A source from Chennai had revealed that Hansika was never satisfied with her role in Singam 2, “However, she never spoke about it in the open as she is a professional. She preferred to stay away from Singam 3 for the obvious reasons. She has plenty of options right now in Tamil movies instead of playing second fiddle to Shruti Haasan in Singam 3”.

In Singam 2, as Hansika’s character gets killed her appearance in the flick ends. But on the basis of hearsay, her role was supposed to be resurrected for the sequel. But now all the rumours are put to end by the confirmation given by the 23-year-old actress.  Hansika is already a successful star in Kollywood and has six projects in her pocket as of now.
