Happy Birthday: Dhanush Turns 32 Today

With Dhanush’s birthday today, fans of the Kollywood star have got another reason to celebrate. In Kollam, Kerala, some of his fans cut the cake and distributed free meals to kids to celebrate the 32nd birthday of the actor. Many people have already changed their display pictures on social networking sites, as part of celebration.

Dhanush entered the industry with Kasthuri Raja’s Thulluvadho Ilamai. His first film not only received positive reviews from people but was also critically acclaimed. His major break in the industry was Vetrimaran’s Polladhavan. Dhanush became a sensation and bagged his first National Award when the duo collaborated again for Aadukalam. Dhanush has also sung and written many songs, but ‘Why This Kolaveri Di’ is the most popular. In fact, the song was the most viewed Indian song on YouTube.

Dhanush is happy that his recent release Maari became a blockbuster at the box office and thanked his fans considering it a birthday gift. “My sincere thanks to my fans and all other actor's fans for making #maari a #blockbuster. This is the best birthday gift ever”, he tweeted. Of course, no gift can be better than the film doing great at the box office.
