Hari Replaces Harris Jayaraj With DSP To Compose Music For Saamy 2

Director Hari is prepping for his next Samy 2 in which Vikram will be playing the lead. It was earlier reported that the director has roped in Harris Jayaraj to compose music for the film, which is a sequel to 2003 movie Saamy. However, now we have heard that he has replaced Harris Jayaraj with DSP for the music.

Harris has composed music for Hari’s previous films like Si3 and Saamy. Prior working with Harris, Hari worked with Devi Sri Prasad for the first two Singham films. Producer Shibu Thameens has confirmed the news about the same and said, "When we approached DSP, he was thrilled and was happy to be part of the venture. He has given some back-to-back hits in Telugu and I'm sure he can match Hari's racy shots in the movie. They have worked together previously and share a great camaraderie."

Hari will be reuniting with Vikram after Saamy in 2003. Keerthy Suresh and Trisha have been roped in to play the female leads. Though the chemistry between Vikram and Trisha in the first part became the talking point, let’s see whether they will be able to create the same magic with the sequel.
