Here Are New Deets About Atharvaa’s ‘Othaikku Oththa’

Young and bankable actor Atharvaa is all geared up for his upcoming film titled ‘Othaikku Oththa’, which revolves around rivalry between two gangs in a college. The movie is being helmed by debutant director Barnesh, a former associate of director Pa. Ranjith. It’s a known fact that the Kanithan actor has undergone a complete transformation for the film. Now, we bring to you the latest updates tied to the flick.

The latest we hear about the film is that it will be an action-entertainer, which will be bankrolled by Dinesh Karthik of Vision I Media who also funded Aranmanai (2014). In addition, the film’s cast will also include veteran actor Thyagarajan in a very significant role. Not just that, Narain of ‘Anjathey’ fame will also play a key part in the movie.

Touching upon the flick, Barnesh stated, “Universities are the place where the molding of an individual actually starts.... 'Othaikku Oththa' is a not to be missed action entertainer that will unveil the life of Students, their Ego Clash and also about their Love life....Atharvaa has put his whole effort for this movie, and he has reduced his body weight to fit into the Student's character. It is really a tougher task to do singles with him. We are in search for a perfect match as a Heroine”.

Promising film score and soundtrack composer Justin Prabhakaran will render the songs and background music. S. Ramalingam, cinematographer of the National Award-winning Visaaranai, will wield the camera for the film.
