Earlier today, it was reported that Simbu has approached the High Court with a plea seeking more time to appear before CCB. Now as per an IG Tamil report, the plea has been granted to the actor.

The High Court has given time till January 29. Till then, the star is concentrating on Thalli Pogathe song’s release on Pongal. The tune of the song composed by A.R. Rahman has already become popular amongst the audiences.

Anirudh and Simbu have landed in a controversy over the song, which was apparently recorded two years back. The song was alleged to have vulgar lyrics denigrating women. It is said that the song was written and crooned by the duo just for fun and was meant to be shared amongst his group of few friends but unfortunately, the song had leaked creating trouble for both of them. Simbu and Anirudh have been booked under sections 67 of the Information Technology Act and Section 292 of the Indian Penal Code.
