It’s a known fact that making the most of technology has let filmmakers bring the best in their movies. Movies such as ‘Sivaji’ (2007) and the recently released ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ were shot through cameras that are typically not used in the making of films. And now, Prabhu Deva’s next will follow in the footsteps of such pioneer flicks.

Prabhu Deva and Tamannah were seen in the 2016 musical horror comedy ‘Devi’. The two are all set to star again with each other in the Hindi version of an upcoming Kollywood thriller 'Kolaiyuthir Kaalam’, which is being helmed by director Chakri Toleti. The Tamil version will feature Nayantara in the lead role.

Titled as ‘Khamoshi’, the Bollywood remake is said to be the First 8K Film of India. This means that the film will be the country’s first movie to be filmed using cameras that can shoot in 8K resolution. The origin of such cameras can be traced back to 2013. The recently released Hollywood film ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ used Red’s 8K Weapon camera.

Prabhu Deva took to Twitter to share the news, “Very excited and proud to be a part of India’s first 8K film, #Khamoshi. Thank you @Vashu Bhagnani and @Chakri Toleti for this great opportunity”.

According to reports, Tamannah will be seen essaying the role of a hearing and speech impaired girl in the movie. The film will also star Bhumika Chawla in a significant role. The shooting of ‘Khamoshi’ is said to have been completed in 25 days in London.
