‘I Could Have Bled To Death,’ Says Kamal Haasan

The 61-year-old actor, Kamal Haasan, is recovering from his injuries. The actor had to halt the shoot of his upcoming Indian trilingual comedy-adventure film ‘Sabaash Naidu’ due to leg fracture. The accident had hooked the actor to his bed for around three months.

The house-bound actor says, “My foot is healing. The pain is considerably reduced. So yes, I am better and back at home. I will be receiving visitors from Monday. As doctors were worried about that infection after surgery, I had a curfew. Now the stitches are off I can meet friends.”

“I won’t be returning to shoot Sabaash Naidu any time soon. Now I am walking with support, but I need to lose the crutches soon, and later walk without an obvious limp. I guess I will need two months to recover fully,” he added. Haasan considers himself lucky and says, “It could have been much worse. After the fall, I was bleeding profusely. I could have bled to death. Luckily for me there was someone else in the office with me at the time that it happened.”

Desimartini desires that Kamal Haasan recovers soon.
