“I felt really comfortable acting alongside Gautham Karthik”, Says Sana Makbul

Rajkumar Periasamy’s upcoming action crime drama film ‘Rangoon’ will star Gautham Karthik and Sana Makbul in the lead roles. The movie is being bankrolled by AR Murugadoss. The major portions of the movie have been shot in Chennai and a few have been filmed in Myanmar.

Recently, Sana touched upon the project and also talked about working with Gautham. Reminiscing her day of audition, the actress said, “Rajkumar sir came to Mumbai for auditioning a few names he had in mind. We were given scenes beforehand to prepare, and mine was the last name on the audition list. But when he started opening up to me more about the character, I realised he liked my performance”.

Sana will be seen playing the role of an aspiring singer named Natasha in the movie. “She is an independent girl, who has to take care of her family”, Sana revealed about her character. About sharing the screen space with Gautham, the actress said, “He was very helpful when it came to the scenes. I felt really comfortable acting alongside him, and that was one of the reasons why I enjoyed doing the film”.

The movie will have music composed by newcomer Vikram RH, who has earlier assisted G. V. Prakash Kumar. Anish Tharun Kumar is serving as the cinematographer of the movie.
