‘I’ promises to be 186 minutes of wholesome entertainment

Now that the countdown for the release of Vikram starrer ‘I’ has begun, we are trying to find more facts about the film. The movie is gearing up for grand Pongal release on 14 January. With just a few days to go, the hype has reached sky high.

Shankar’s ‘I’ is all set to give the movie a whole new experience with high-octane action and Vikram's multiple avatars. The run time of the film is all set to be 183 min 1 sec for Hindi version and 186 min 36 sec. Hence, the film does promise to be a long thrilling story. Lead actor Vikram is confident that the film will break the language barrier and will be appreciated throughout the country. “This is a film which will be appreciated by pan-Indian audience. I could sense it even when I was doing the film,” he said.

This would be Vikram’s second collaboration with ace filmmaker Shankar. “Anniyan was fairly an uncomplicated, linear film while ‘I’ is not. Shankar can make a film completely out of what we think is his comfort zone. Working with him for the second time, I learned that his yearning for perfection hasn’t waned. It is not about how much money he is given to make a film. It is about what a filmmaker can do. It is not about thinking of 200 elephants instead of 20. It is about thinking out of box,” Vikram added.

While music maestro A.R. Rahman's music has already won people’s heart, P.C. Sreeram's cinematography indicates that the film is all set to be a visual treat for movie-buffs as well.
