    Badava Gopi has expanded his horizons with strong performances in several movies and we his stamped authority as an anchor and mimicry artist. The star was seen playing a reported in Dhanush starrer Kodi, is all excited over his upcoming release Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings.

    "I play a cricket commentator in the film. My role in the first part was a huge hit. The dialogue Sumaar Moonji Kumaaru was used multiple times, and now, we even have a movie coming with the same name. So it became a challenge of sorts to come with up interesting dialogues for the sequel, too. But nevertheless, we have some interesting lines that are sure to become a hit".

    Gopi is also very much part of Enakku Vaaitha Adimaigal, and he would portray the character of a ‘love debator’. Talking more about his role, “It is an interesting role. Most of my dialogues in the film are taken from my own experiences. I had a good time working with Jai, too!" with offers coming easy to Gopi, the actor doesn’t want to repeat his characters, and is choosing his role carefully.
