Ilayaraja To Collaborate With Kamal Haasan After 11 Years?

This month it was reported that Kamal Haasan would be reuniting with actress Amala Akkineni after 25 years for his next film. The pair has earlier worked together in 1988 in ‘Sathya’ and a couple of more films. Speculations were that Ghibran would score the music for the film, but the reports have turned out to be false.

According to reports, veteran music composer Ilayaraja would be composing the tunes for the next film of the Papanasam actor. If the reports turn out to be true the n the two will collaborate after 11 years.  Ilayaraja last composed the music for Kamal haasan’s 2004 hit film ‘Virumandi’.

T.K. Rajeev Kumar will be helming the venture. The Tamil - Telugu bilingual will soon go on floors in USA. Rumour mills are churning that the film has been titled 'Appa Amma Vilayaattu'. However, an official confirmation is yet to be made. The flick will also feature Zarina Wahab.
