Income Tax Department Raids Team ‘Puli’

With just a day remaining for the release of Vijay’s much awaited film ‘Puli’, the team was gearing up for the release. But something unexpected happened today with the cast and crew of the film. According to the reports, the Income Tax department conducted a surprise raid at the house and office of the flick’s lead actor this morning.

Not only Vijay, the Income Tax department raided the house of director Chimbudeven, producer P.T. Selvakumar, and the leading ladies of the film Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani. The team of ‘Puli’ has been shaken by the raid. They expected to hit the headlines but certainly not in this fashion.

Reportedly, the raid is not subjected to only ‘Puli’. The IT department is simultaneously raiding 32 places which involves the houses of big producers, directors or anyone who is associated with a big budget movie. According to the reports, director Shankar, actress Nayantara and Samantha are also among the list.
