Income Tax Raid Leads To Cancellation Of ‘Puli’ Morning Shows

The Income Tax raid that took place yesterday at the offices and houses of core members of ‘Puli’ has affected the release of the film. According to the reports, the premier and the early morning shows of the flick have been cancelled across the globe. This has come as disappointing news for Vijay fans.

People were eagerly waiting for the release of the Chimbudeven directorial, and the cancellation of the morning shows has angered the fans. The raid took place yesterday in the morning at the house and offices of Vijay, director Chimbudeven, producer P.T. Selvakumar, and the leading ladies of the film Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani. The whole team of ‘Puli’ was gearing up for the release but suffered a major blow.

The raid took place at 32 places simultaneously suspecting tax evasion. A senior Income Tax official said, "We received information about unaccounted money being used in the making of the film and that huge money transaction happened on the eve of the movie release. Hence the raid".  Let’s hope that the flick does not suffer because of the raids.
