Iraivi Portrays Producers In Bad Light: Council

Finding the representation of producer in the flick Iraivi objectionable, the Tamil Nadu Film Producers’ Council is planning to escalate the issue. Reportedly, the body may take up the issue with the Tamil Nadu Film Directors Association. The movie is however getting great reviews and is appreciated by fans and critics alike.

As per a source, the film emphasizes the clash between the director and the producer of one of the earlier flicks. On this Tamil Nadu Film Producers’ Council’s vice-president T.G. Thyagarajan said it was a common feeling among producers that the flick had portrayed the group in a bad taste. “We strongly condemn such portrayal and plan to take up the issue with the Tamil Nadu Film Directors Association”, he said.

On reaching out to Subbaraj, the director of Iraivi said that he has not received any information about the issue of such nature. For this reason, he refused to make any comment on the subject matter. The 33-year-old star will be next being seen working with the Maari star Dhanush.
