Is Atharvaa’s ‘Rukkumani Vandi Varudhu’ Shelved?

Rajamohan’s upcoming comedy ‘Rukkumani Vandi Varudhu’ will feature Atharvaa and Pooja Jhaveri in the lead roles. Launched in 2015, the project, which is said to have shelved, was being bankrolled by Deepa Iyer. According to recent reports, Atharvaa and Deepa don’t share cordial terms and so, the movie is likely to have been dropped.

“Director Rajamohan had completed 40 per cent of the movie. But, Atharvaa and producer Deepa Iyer had a fallout post which the shooting didn’t happen”, a source revealed, adding, “Now, we hear that the former is not allotting dates to complete the flick. The film has a great script and it is sad to see this happen. The project is dropped, as far as I know”.

The movie will also star SPB Charan, Thambi Ramaiah, Poster Nandakumar, Nagendran and Gadam Kishan. The music for the film was being handled by Girishh G. The film began production in August 2015 in Kodaikanal but was delayed in December due to landslides.
